March 22, 2025 is the 33rd World Water Day, while March 22-28, 2025 marks the 38th China Water Week. The United Nations sets the theme of 2025 World Water Day as “Glacier Preservation”. Ministry of Water Resources of China will organize promotion activities for 2025 World Water Day and China Water Week, with the theme of “Promoting High-quality Development in the Water Sector for National Water Security”. These events mainly include themed articles by the Minister, poster display, an online quiz competition, visitors’ day to water projects and scenic spots, among others.
